Shannon Nazworth President & CEO of Ability Housing Honored as One of GlobeSt.’s 2022 Women of Influence for Humanitarian Efforts

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Shannon Nazworth, President & CEO of Ability Housing, has been selected as one of GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence for 2022 in the Humanitarian category.

Each year, GlobeSt.com and its sister publication, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum, present the Women of Influence award. The program honors women in commercial real estate who impact the market in innovative ways and significantly drive the industry to new heights through their outstanding success. This year, Nazworth was one of 11 women across the United States recognized in the “Humanitarian” category.

GlobeSt.com applauded Nazworth’s dedication to serving individuals and families who have been priced out of the dignity that comes with having a home. Among her peers in the commercial real estate industry, she is a leading voice in the conversation about the affordable housing crisis in Florida and throughout the nation. Under her leadership, the organization’s portfolio of properties has grown more than 2,000% — expanding from one group home for six adults with developmental disabilities, to more than 800 multifamily and scattered-site units that house more than 1,500 Floridians.

“I’m honored to be recognized as one of GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence this year,” said Shannon Nazworth, president and CEO of Ability Housing. “More importantly, I’m proud to be able to represent and share Ability Housing’s mission — to build strong communities where everyone has a home — among such an accomplished list of fellow honorees.”

The full list of 2022 Women of Influence honorees can be viewed here on GlobeSt.com and here in the digital edition of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum's July/August 2022 issue.
