Multifamily Garden Apts Designed To Save $

Meeks + Partners Multifamily Architects realizes that the current economy is preventing many developers from moving forward with investments. With Urban Garden, the site costs and construction costs are exponentially smaller than a typical garden apartment due to the efficiency and density that this product yields.

We believe that this savings can offer many new opportunities for developers whether it is to reduce rents in a competitive market, or to reinvest the savings into the product to create a more sustainable urban community.

For over 30 years, Meeks + Partners has been constantly trying to improve the aesthetic quality and efficiency of our designs. Urban Garden was created as an evolution of our breezeway-less product. We saw an opportunity to make the building more efficient and increase density. We were able to drastically reduce the building footprint by bringing the stairs into the core of the building.

This design eliminates 50% of the stairs and allows all of the residents to access their unit from the street side. By having one access point, the sidewalks are also greatly reduced.

The Urban Garden product contains 24 units per building (8 per floor). Each building type has four unique units (two 1-bedroom units & two 2-bedroom units). The number of units and bedrooms per building can be catered to meet the client's specific market needs.

By achieving over 30 units per acre, Urban Garden open the doors to many different sites and markets.
