IRVINE, CA – March 1, 2010 - Legacy Partners' Missions at Chino Hills was awarded Community of the Year and Kathleen Blackburn received Assistant Manager of the Year honors at the APEX Awards, the Apartment Association of Greater Inland Empire's (AAGIE) annual awards program on February 19, 2010. AAGIE presented APEX awards to properties and individuals to recognize achievements and performance for 2009. APEX stands for "Awarding Positive Efforts to Excellence." Over 775 multihousing professionals and guests attended the formal dinner and awards presentation held at the Ontario Doubletree Hotel on February19, 2009.
Missions at Chino Hills won Community of the Year in the 151-350 unit category, one of four award categories based on property size. Kathleen Blackburn's APEX award for Assistant Manager of the Year (351+ units category) was a repeat honor. In September 2009, she was recognized in this category in for her achievements at Castlepark Resort Apartments in San Bernardino at the 80th Annual Tribute Awards by the Apartment Association of California Southern Cities. "Kathleen has outstanding customer service skills and a wonderful appreciation of customer expectations: quality, competence and reliability coupled with a receptive and caring attitude," says Legacy's District Manager Michelle Nicholson. "We're proud she has received these well-deserved awards from the apartment industry."
