Kaplan Announces Over $100M in Multifamily Activity

HOUSTON, TX - The Kaplan Companies is proud to announce over $100 million dollars in sales, acquisitions, and development. Kaplan recently sold 240 units in the Sugar Land, TX area located 15 miles south of Houston.  Kaplan had owned the property for seven years before selling to a local investment group.

Kaplan Acquisitions LLC, headed by Ken Steidley, recently acquired a 256 unit apartment complex in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and plans call for additional acquisitions.  Also acquired was the balance of the Royalton high-rise condominium complex, a for sale product, near the CBD of Houston.

Kaplan Development has currently broken ground on a 215 unit development in Austin, TX, The District at SoCo; completion is slated for early Fall 2012.  Located in the popular South Congress district, the District at SoCo features an environmentally friendly, green building design along with thoughtfully planned interiors, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a refreshing pool that is unlike any other.
