Lexington Homes Starts Sales at Lexington Towne Near Downtown Arlington Heights

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago-based Lexington Homes has announced the start of sales at Lexington Towne, an enclave of 15 single-family homes within walking distance to downtown Arlington Heights - recently voted “One of the Most Desirable Downtowns” in a Daily Herald newspaper survey. First move-ins are scheduled for Spring 2017.

“Lexington Towne provides an amazing opportunity for buyers to live in new construction single-family homes so close to downtown Arlington Heights,” said Jeff Benach, principal of Lexington Homes. “Its prime location at 909 W. Campbell Street will put residents only a half mile from one of Chicago’s most popular suburban downtowns, known for its assorted mix of restaurants, shops, theaters, a performing arts center and the Metra station.”

Starting in the mid $700,000, homes at Lexington Towne will range in size from 3,003 to 3,678 square feet and offer four to five bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms. Buyers can choose from three floor plans -The Arlington, The Brighton and The Concord - each offering a variety of options so every home will have its own unique look and feel. For example, optional brick or stone elevations provide a customized exterior, while flexible floor plans allow buyers to tailor interiors to meet their individual needs.

All plans feature open main floor layouts with a spacious great room and large eat-in kitchen with ample countertop space and cabinets. A large walk-in pantry offers additional storage for kitchenware and bulk pantry items. Thoughtfully designed for busy families, each home also includes a laundry room and sizable mudroom off of the garage, while a separate dining room and study offer more optional spaces for work and entertaining.

“There is a reason we have been so successful at building homes over the past 40 years,” said Benach. “We know that each buyer has different needs, which is why we keep our plans flexible. Homes at Lexington Towne offer floor plans to accommodate any family no matter what stage of life they are in. For example, all three of our floor plans include the option to turn the study and powder room on the first floor into a guest suite, which could be used for a nanny, older relatives or an overnight guest.”

Homes at Lexington Towne come standard with a two-story family room with the option to fill in the two-story space and add an additional fifth bedroom or loft. According to Benach, it’s all about having a choice. “Some home owners love the look and open feel of a two-story family room while others might decide having additional bedrooms upstairs is a better fit,” he said.

While each home comes with a sizable master suite with a large walk-in closet, buyers also have the option to add a deluxe master bath that includes a soaking tub and large walk-in shower as well as a second-floor laundry room. Additionally, all Lexington Towne homes come with two-car garages, however, the Concord design offers the option of a three-car garage. The Concord design offers the option of a three-car garage.

Standard features at Lexington Towne include granite countertops, GE Profile stainless steel appliances and 42-inch upper cabinets in the kitchen; hardwood flooring throughout the main level; and raised-height vanities with granite or marble countertops in all baths.

Buyers can also choose from a variety of exterior designs at Lexington Towne to create an attractive street scape. Exteriors include a farmhouse elevation with a wide front porch, a traditional home design and a craftsman-style home.

“Whatever elevation a buyer picks, they can rest assured that the homes will feature high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship,” said Benach. “Maintaining a custom feel and atmosphere throughout the community is a priority for us.”

Rated one of the safest cities to live in, Arlington Heights is just 25 miles from Chicago’s Loop and 20 minutes from O’Hare International Airport.

“While buyers will really appreciate having the freedom to tailor these plan, we believe that the biggest draw to homes at Lexington Towne will be the walkable lifestyle that many suburban buyers today are seeking,” said Benach. “Newly constructed homes in a well-established, in-town location like Arlington Heights are in great demand.”
